Headstart Intervention Services provides services relating to school difficulties, anxiety and depression, as well as eating, sleeping and conduct disturbances. We currently have six Psychologists working in the practice, all of whom bring their own areas of expertise.
Children can be provided with home based intervention packages based on applied behavioural techniques. These programs are initially developed and implemented by the psychologists at Headstart but soon they become home-based with continuing support offered by Headstart.
Headstart intervention Services also provides diagnostic and intervention services to children throughout the state and also provides consults to families in the Northern Territory.
We are a recognised provider through FaHCSIA under the Helping Children with Autism Package.
